Give your agent the chapters you remember. Get back a life chart you can open, edit, share, and embed.
A few dates are enough
Try: “Make a life chart from my résumé. Show my education and jobs, and add the years I lived abroad.” Or: “Add my new role to this chart and switch it to bars.”
A birthday is optional. You can supply a LinkedIn profile, paste a résumé, or describe your chapters in your own words. If your agent can’t access a profile, paste the relevant dates and roles. It should keep gaps open until you fill them in.
Give your agent the skill
Install through the Skills directory CLI. It works with agents that support the Agent Skills format.
npx skills add https://lifecharts.io --skill lifechartsOr download the Lifecharts skill and add it to your agent’s skill folder. The package includes the instructions and a standalone CLI. Running it requires Bun 1.3.14 or newer; no account or API key is needed.
Then ask your agent: “Use $lifecharts to create my timeline.” You can read the skill before installing it.
A chart you can keep editing
Your agent returns a checked chart link and can save an editable JSON document. Paste either into the Lifecharts editor to review it. Send the same chart back to your agent when you want to add a chapter or change the view.
Timeline view aligns chapters by date. Bars compare how much time each chapter has occupied. Your selected view, theme, and scale travel with the share link and embed.
The chart can use a birthday or begin at your first known chapter. Any future horizon is a reference you choose. It does not predict how long you will live.
A small, checked interface
The included CLI creates from JSON, inspects existing links, validates dates and nesting, and compiles edits into verified share and embed URLs. It runs locally and never fetches a profile or uploads a chart.

A chart link contains the details you entered. Anyone with the complete link can read them. Its fragment stays out of ordinary website requests; pasting it into a hosted agent shares it with that provider. Personal social-card previews are an explicit sharing choice in Lifecharts.
